Chan Meditation & Qigong TuiNa with Dr. Liu Dong-Seattle

May 28, 2016 @ 1:30 pm - May 29, 2016 @ 3:30 pm

WORKSHOP CANCELED

Join us for this exciting new workshop! Take an internal journey for inner-reflection and purification of the six senses by learning practices of Chan Meditation. Meditation practice incorporates seated meditation and the focus is on emptying the mind and body of wants and desires so the qi can fill in. Practicing meditation in stillness quiets the mind until desire dies. When your heart is very peaceful, the qi drops in. All the doors open and nature’s intelligence flows through the body. Learn to observe the body with the six roots, observe the heart to develop joy and peace, observe calm, willingness, intelligence and wisdom. You will learn the Four Levels of Breathing (Wind, Water, Sun, & Moon) and Five Organ TuiNa (five organ fascia tuina). Lecture includes the Taoist map: Xiu Zhen Tu, neuroscience and meditation, Chinese medical Heart physiology and relationship with the brain, along with the five organ spirit aspects.
