Qigong & Qigong TuiNa for Children-Portland

October 4, 2014 - October 5, 2014

$245 – $275

According to ancient Chinese medicine, the internal organs of a child continue to develop after birth. In this system of healing, the primary modality for treating children is Qigong and Qigong TuiNa (massage). Children are able to receive and sense Qi easily. This weekend workshop will introduce you to protocols for children to maintain overall well-being and improve childhood issues such as: hyperactivity, food allergies, digestive disorders, night terrors, and autism.

This workshop is appropriate for those thinking about becoming a parent, if you are already a parent, grandparent, teacher and/or healthcare provider. Information presented will provide you with a Taoist medical view of a child and parent from preconception through adolescence, giving you powerful tools to support the development of a child’s life.

In this workshop, you will learn:

Education for the parents to be – preparing your health for conception and
during pregnancy.

Qigong and Taoist medical education for children from birth to 18 years old:

Four stages of development – theory and practice
1.  newborn – first three days (one door shuts down and nine doors open)
