Cherry Blossom Meditation: Tied to the Asian culture, mindfulness, and living in the present, cherry blossoms are a timeless metaphor for human existence. Blooming season is powerful, glorious, and intoxicating. The cherry blossoms are spectacular to see, to feel, and to experience!

Each flower has 5 petals representing: Peace, two L’s (Love brings Luck), Smooth Transitions, Eternal Life, and Beauty. The blossoms begin around the middle of March and finish at the end of April or beginning of May. (First 3-classes will focus on learning this meditation.)

We practice this meditation 81 days after the Winter Solstice, to Bloom Fully, brighten and lift your thoughts for the rest of the year!

Taoist Wisdom for Detoxification:  With Winter being a time of preservation, Spring is a time of cleansing and renewal. In ancient Chinese Medicine theory, Spring, the season associated with the Liver,  is the best and safest time of the year to implement a cleanse or a gentle detox. We need to clear out or reset our bodies and mind for the Qi to flow, grow, and prevent Qi blockages for the rest of year. Master Liu He will guide you in this ancient Taoist wisdom for a complete plan to cleanse/detoxify  mind, body, and soul.

Eight Treasures (Ba Duan Jin) Medical Qigong: is one the four oldest and most famous Qigong methods in China. This form dates back to the early 12th century where it evolved as a popular folk healing practice. It was originally developed for monks practicing to meditation address the joint problems they developed after long years of sitting meditation practice. Eight routines of this form are designed to build strong bones, increase tendon flexibility, strengthen particular organ-energy systems, and heal the seven emotions. Tendons are related to our Liver organ and Spring is the optimal time to work them.
