Summer Retreat – Damascus, Oregon – click here

July 21, 2010 @ 3:00 pm - July 25, 2010 @ 12:30 pm

$495 – $595
Join us for the Ling Gui Qigong School’s Annual Summer Retreat and immerse yourself in powerful Qigong guided by world renowned Qigong Masters! Once again, this year’s summer retreat will be held in the relaxing and beautiful Still Meadow Retreat Center in Damascus, Oregon.  In addition to a wonderfully inspiring teaching room, there are trails on the property, a wood-fired sauna, and swimming in the nearby Clackamas River. For the adventurous, there are beautiful hikes available about an hour up the road.

This year’s retreat will focus on Nei Yang Gong for the Kidneys and Lungs.

Nei Yang Gong, a method of Wu Dang Qigong, nourishes and tonifies the Kidneys and Lungs as well as harmonizes their interdependent relationship.  The Kidneys store our Jing or essence and also generates marrow and bone health. Our Lungs control breathing and transform inhaled air into Qi.  In one aspect, the two organs communicate with each other as the Lungs function of governing Qi and breath relies on the Kidneys ability to grasp the Qi.. The Kidneys function of governing water is supported by the Lungs ability to transport fluids. Quite the intricate relationship!

In addition, this form also activates four types of Qi:  Yuan Qi (Original Qi), Zong Qi (Qi of Food and Air), Wei Qi (Defensive Qi-immune defense), Ying Qi (Nutritive Qi) and awakens three Organ Souls: Shen (Heart), Yi (Spleen) and Zhi (Kidney).
